A fully reusable Energy Source that is Carbon Neutral. Most electricity is generated by burning fossil fuels. This releases carbon dioxide and other gases into the atmosphere, which contributes to climate change.

A Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system is one that converts light directly into electricity on your roof with no waste and no emissions. This electricity is used throughout your home in the same way as the electricity you currently buy from your energy supplier.

Harnessing the sun’s energy and converting it into electricity will reduce your fuel bills and at the same time reduce your daily impact on the environment.

When light hits the silicon in a solar PV cell, electrical energy is created, which then needs to be converted from Direct Current (DC) to Alternating Current (AC) and works for all of your electrical needs.

In-roof, on-roof and tiles are the typical systems available, however there are also glass systems which are less commonly seen.

You have the ability to provide electricity to your house from a fully renewable Energy source meaning you save money and work towards becoming Carbon neutral.

A 2KW system will produce nearly half of your yearly electricity requirements and we rarely only install 2 panels, so in short, a good amount of electricity is the simplest answer.

We had been interested in solar panels for some time and looked into the local council supported scheme. We have a Victorian semi and only have a flat roof for solar panels and no attic (because of a loft conversion) for a battery and we did not feel happy with what we were offered. Through recommendation of friends we got in touch with Bowller who carried out a survey very promptly and explained what could be done for our house. We found that the roofers and electricians who came to do the work were excellent. In particular the electricians were very respectful of our property and carried out the work very neatly and to a high standard. There were some minor problems after installation but communication with Bowller was easy and the problems were solved rapidly. We are delighted with how the system works and would recommend Bowller very highly.

All round good experience, thanks. Good design advice at the beginning so roof arrangement looks better than it could have. All fitted excellently and helpfully worked around long running house renovation.

Very pleasant company to work with. Good communication. Excellent workmanship. We had a new roof with integrated solar panels. We are in a conservation area but the work looks great and has had very positive feedback.

They did a great job with our re-roof with built-in solar thermal and PV. It was great to find a company able to do it all "under one roof".
